Memorial Garden and Columbarium

First Presbyterian has erected and made available to those in the community who might like to use it, a columbarium.

A columbarium is a structure to hold the cremains of those persons who have  chosen cremation after their death. Our columbarium is not ours alone. We have offered the use to anyone in the  community who purchases a niche and follows our very basic guidelines.

A niche (which will hold the cremains of two persons) is $1000. The cost does not  include a plaque with the name of the persons with the dates of birth and death.  Compared to the cost of a cemetery lot and marker, the savings are obvious.

                                                        God’s Garden
Let us love one another for love is of God.
I John 4:7

God's Garden was established in the Memorial Gardens for those whose cremains have not been claimed by family members.

"I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, shall live. Everyone who lives and believes in me will never die."
