MISSION STATEMENT – To lead Presbyterian Men into a vital relationship with Jesus Christ and to assist in their spiritual, personal and community development.

We are in our fifth year raising money to help Homeless Veterans in Western North Carolina.  To date we have raised over $22,000  On March 1st, we were able to place collection containers at the Mountain Credit Union teller windows, for a 3 month period ending on May 31.  Mountain Credit Union presented to us a check for $640.00.

All men in the church are invited to join the Men’s group. We have a weekly lunch at various restaurants, 2nd Saturday breakfast and a monthly meeting at the church.  The monthly meeting is normally the first Monday of the month, however, this month it will be on June 10.

Our monthly meetings are on the first Monday of the month

A big thank you to all who came to the September Sunday luncheon.  The hot dogs and all the sides were delicious and we had wonderful desserts provided by the congregation.  100% of the donations from the Sunday lunch will be going to help Homeless Veterans.  The amount collected was $913.00.

The lunch kicked off the 2nd Annual Help Homeless Veterans Week, September 8 - 14.  We placed collection containers in close to 100 businesses in the area.  The amount collected so far from the containers is $1,462.  With some businesses closed when we picked up the containers, the total collected will likely go up some.  The Presbyterian Men would like to thank the citizens of Macon County and the many visitors who gave so generously to help homeless Veterans in western North Carolina.

We have one more chance this year to raise money to help homeless Veterans. We will have a booth set up at the Pumpkinfest in Franklin on October 19.  Contact Neal Keenum if you would like to help out at the booth.

We glorify God thru Christian fellowship and our annual fund raiser for homeless veterans is the hallmark of who we are and what we do. In addition to this effort we do a lot of  things year round that you will find fun and interesting.  All our activities are voluntary and take into account that you may have a busy life and don’t want to be tied down to a constant responsibility. Participation is totally up to you depending on your schedule. Our members "plug in” to help where they can.

We would like to invite any of our men to join our group.

Contact Ned Kraft 828-369-0768 or email:, if you are interested.

 It’s a great time  . . .
